▪️Heat a pan, add 1 tsp ghee.
▪️Add 1 cup rava/sooji. Roast for 5-6 minutes until fragrant. Remove and keep aside.
▪️Heat 2 tbsp oil in the same pan.
▪️Add 1/2 tsp mustard seeds and 1/2 tsp cumin seeds. Let them crackle.
▪️Add 1 tsp chana dal, 1 tsp urad dal, some cashew nuts and some peanuts. Sauté for a minute until they start changing colour.
▪️Add 10-12 curry leaves, 2 chopped green chillies and 1 tsp finely chopped ginger. Sauté for few seconds.
▪️Add 2 chopped onions. Sauté until the onions soften.
▪️Add 1/2 cup chopped carrot and 1/2 cup green peas. Cook for 2-3 minutes.
▪️Add 1 chopped tomato. Mix and cook for a minute.
▪️Add salt and sauté until the tomatoes turn soft.
▪️Add 3 cups of water and let it boil.
▪️Add the roasted sooji. Mix everything well.
▪️Cover the lid for 2-3 minutes.
▪️Remove the lid and mix everything well.
▪️Add some chopped cilantro, 1 tbsp sugar and 1 tbsp lemon juice. Mix everything well.
▪️Serve hot with coconut chutney.
