Cajun BBQ Chicken

Cajun BBQ Chicken with Chow Mein noodles & steamed broccoli will forever be a food court classic- so today were making it at home 👩🏻‍🍳 This is a super delicious, well-rounded meal that is pretty quick to whip up for either lunch or dinner 🙌🏽

1.5 lbs. chicken boneless skinless thighs
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp cayenne
1/2 tsp mustard powder
Salt & peper
1 tbsp avocado oil

Cajun BBQ Sauce:
1/4 cup Soy sauce
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup Ketchup
1/4 cup water
3 tbsp ACV
3 tbsp Oyster sauce
Chicken juices
^(While the cooked chicken is resting in a plate, it will release some juices- these juices should be poured back into the sauce for added flavour)*

Chow Mein Noodles:
3-4 tbsp avocado oil
1/2 tbsp Tomato paste
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/2 cup water
1/2 boullion cube
1 tbsp acv
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tbsp sesame oil
1 white onion (sliced)
*Par-cook Chow Mein noodles- cook for 2 minutes in boiling water then transfer to wok with heated sauce and cook for 2-3 mins.
