Step-by-step recipe:
▪️Heat a thick bottomed pan.
▪️Add 3 cups of thin poha to the pan.
▪️Roast the poha for 3-4 minutes.
▪️Remove and keep aside.
▪️Heat 2-3 tbsp oil.
▪️Add 1/2 cup peanuts and fry them.
▪️Add 1/3 cup cashew nuts, 1/3 cup almonds and 1/3 cup dry coconut slices. Fry them.
▪️Add 1/3 cup roasted chana dal and fry.
▪️Lastly add 1/3 cup raisins and fry.
▪️Remove and keep aside.
▪️Pour 1 tbsp oil to the same pan.
▪️Add 1/2 tbsp mustard seeds, 5-6 chopped green chillies and 15-20 curry leaves. Sauté until fragrant.
▪️Add salt, 1/2 tsp turmeric powder, 1 tsp red chilli powder and 1 tsp dry mango powder. Sauté for a minute.
▪️Add the roasted poha.
▪️Gently mix everything. Sauté for 2 minutes.
▪️Add the fried dry fruits and nuts. Mix well.
▪️Add 2 tbsp powdered sugar. Sauté for 2 minutes.
▪️Turn off the heat and transfer to another plate.
▪️Once cooled, store in an airtight container.
▪️Enjoy with a hot cup of tea.
