Moong Dal Halwa😍

Step-by-step recipe:
▪️Wash and soak 1 cup moong dal for 4-5 hours.
▪️Drain water and transfer to a grinder. Grind it to a paste.
▪️Heat a pan, add 1/4 cup desi ghee. Let it melt.
▪️Add 1 tbsp sooji and 1 tbsp besan. Sauté until it turns light golden.
▪️Add the ground dal and mix everything well. Keep stirring continuously.
▪️Add 1/4 cup ghee. Fry till the moisture evaporates.
▪️Pour 1 cup milk and mix everything well.
▪️Add saffron milk and keep stirring continuously.
▪️When the entire liquid is absorbed, add 1/4 cup ghee and 1 cup sugar.
▪️The sugar starts to melt and turns the mixture watery. Keep stirring continuously.
▪️Add 1 tsp cardamom powder and chopped dry fruits and nuts. Cook until the ghee separates.
▪️Garnish with more nuts and enjoy.
